Here’s how we place a single dental implant at With U Dental:
- Consultation and Planning: We begin with a thorough consultation to assess your oral health and determine if a dental implant is the best solution for you. We’ll take digital scans and X-rays to plan the placement of the implant with precision.
- Implant Placement: During the procedure, the titanium implant is carefully placed into the jawbone. This is done under local anaesthesia to ensure your comfort. The implant is then left to heal and integrate with the bone over the next few months.
- Healing Period: As the implant integrates with the jawbone, you’ll go through a healing period that typically lasts several months. During this time, the bone grows around the implant, securing it firmly in place.
- Crown Placement: Once the implant has fully integrated, we’ll attach a custom-made crown to the implant. The crown is designed to match your natural teeth in colour, shape, and size, completing your smile restoration.

How long does a single dental implant last?
With proper care, a single dental implant can last a lifetime. The implant itself is made from titanium, which is highly durable and biocompatible, while the crown may need to be replaced after 10-15 years depending on wear and tear.
Is the implant placement procedure painful?
